experienced in trauma at sea have recommended the contents of this type
of kit to include supplies to assist in life support, such as IV Set Ups

wound care supplies. Medications consistent with expected injury and illness
at sea, such as both oral and topical antibiotics for infections. Pain

U.S. Coast Guard Requires a First Aid Kit on Passenger Vessels. A vessel
must carry a first-aid kit approved/equivalent in accordance with Sec.
160.041. “This First Aid Kits meets the Coast Guard’s minimum requirements
for small passenger vessels in 46 CFR 121.710 and 184.710.”
